When a flood passes through an area the damage that they can leave could be tremendous, if Flood Damage have entered a building containing state-of-the-art electronic equipment. In the case of all fused equipment, the fusible units should also be replaced, and the remainder of the unit apparatus by be suitable for refurbishing in close consultation with the original manufacturer.
  4.  In all Flood Damage cases, great attention will be paid to the thorough cleaning, drying, and testing of all of the insulators and insulation material. The power electronic equipment can be expected to contain additional electronic units like solid state relays. These electronic units could also be very vital to the correct functioning of the protective device, and there should be great care that is needed in the thorough cleaning and testing of such electronic units. A first recommendation is to return the devices to the original manufacturer.
