Lead-based house paint was commonly used in homes up until the late 1970s, and was particularly usual before the 1950s. The most customary places to find lead-based house paint are places where high strength is needed, like doors, doorframes, windows, woodwork, and furniture. Lead-based house paint becomes a threat when it begins to wear, chip, or peel, or when Debris Removal is being removed by sanding or stripping.

This must be performed before a new tenant signs a lease agreement and before an existing renter renews the lease for buildings that were built before 1978. Try to keep house paint in good shape, fix water damage from leaks and penetration. Keep your roof in good repair and keep the gutters and downspouts unclogged. Tell your renters to report peeling Debris Removal house paint and respond fast when they do. Check for peeling house paint and repair it every time you or your workers come on to the property. 

Inspect the units carefully at turnover and look out for lead dust when you repair, repaint or remodel. Seal off the work area by covering all of the floors, doors, furniture, windows and vents with heavy sheets of plastic. Preferably, Debris Removal remove all of the furniture from the room and keep the children and pregnant women away from the affected area. 

Wet down the house paint before any sanding or scraping to control the lead dust and prevent creating dust or house paint chips. Wash Debris Removal floors, walls and other surfaces with soap and water and rinse often with fresh water. Dispose of contaminated debris, towels and wash cloths in heavy sealable plastic bags. Contact a reputable environmental testing lab for a sample taking kit or hire an impartial lead removal professional. 

Lead dust levels must be no more than 40 micrograms per square foot on the floors. If these levels are higher, clean the Debris Removal area again, then retest. Make lead removal safety a habit and train your workers. Several of the community colleges and different trade associations offer classes in lead-safe exercises. Insist on these lead-safe exercises when you hire a lead removal contractor. Call in a certified lead removal expert if you or your crews do not have the experience with lead dangers.
