Your homeowner’s insurance policy will most likely cover much of your flood damage loss, but keep in mind that insurance policies do vary. Your insurance policy might cover Water Removal and other expenses, like water damage to your home, including rental units; loss of personal possessions; your living expenditures if your house is unlivable due to flood damage; and rental payments that you cannot collect due to flood damage.
